New Section: Committee on DisAbilities
Duties:
-
Advocate for anyone who needs special accommodations in order to participate in activities of the Democratic Party.

Provide education about such subjects as ableism and living with a disAbility.
-
Recommend platform updates, legislation, and candidate questions
to the appropriate KCDCC committees,
focusing on issues specific to disAbled persons,
including but not limited to homelessness, transportation, and mental health.
